Throughout the Save Our Forests campaign we were unsure as to the Woodland Trusts position. Were they against the sell off of our Public Forest Estate (PFE)? Did they want some of the PFE for themselves? Did they have it in for the Forestry Commission?
Well, today they have told us. A few weeks ago the Ramblers gave their ‘Call for Views’ response to Save Our Woods to publish exclusively for campaign followers and now the Woodland Trust have done the same.
It is a bit longer than the one side of A4 I was expecting but it makes for great reading! Thank you to the Woodland Trust for answering our call and sharing this with the campaign! Oh and well done on achieving a ‘Call in’ for Oaken Wood!
