Tina sent us these fabulous pictures and wrote a few words to go with them:
I love trees. Walking through the woods calms me down, makes me happy, it lets me forget the busy and stressful human world. Trees have this special, friendly superiority over everything while they are just standing there, growing and reaching to the light.
As a child I used to climb up trees, they seemed so strong and everlasting. Now I look at them in admiration of variety and age. I don’t know if you ever think of that but I do very often: trees are a connection to the past.
Remind yourselves of how old some of our trees are, generations and generations have looked at them, touched them, played on them and found food through them. I find it rather amazing.
